I tend to think Sci-Fi is a lot more embracing of convention-busting and hence sees the value of originality over dollar signs. I love that magazine for that reason — I see a passion for good writing and great stories! Congratulations on the coup!
it’s funny because I originally dreamed of writing sci-fi – especially cyberpunk. I ended up falling into the horror pool by accident (and a happy accident at that!) But to get into Interzone really is a dream come true. Thank you!
